Gridworks Initiatives

Overview

Gridworks convenes and supports stakeholders reexamining net metering, asking how to build on its success to further decarbonization, account for location value, fairly recover grid costs, and enable customer choice.

Gridworks’ publications contributing to sustaining solar beyond net metering can be found here. Gridworks hosted a webinar on January 29 providing an overview of the paper – see the webinar recording here.

Utility Dive published an article on the results of the paper and initiative – read “The ‘small miracle’ that may lead to California’s net metering successor” (02/08/2018).
